Liverpool is tied to the move of Atletico Madrid defender Nahiel Morina at the end of the season.

According to Marca, SportWitness, they are keen on the 27-year-old defender and it will be interesting to see if they can complete the transaction. They face competition from player league rivals Newcastle United. He’s also passionate about the players.

Liverpool was hoping to sign Jeremy Fripon

Morina is a useful player for Atletico Madrid, and recently won the World Cup and Copa America in his country. There’s no doubt he has the quality to do well in the Premier League. He could be a useful acquisition for Liverpool.

However, Liverpool is expected to sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremy Fripon as a replacement for Trent Alexander Arnold, and it will be interesting to see how they respond to the World Cup winners in the starting lineup. It seems unlikely that Liverpool will move to two right-backs this summer. They need to provide Molina with ample game time to persuade players to join. The defender won’t want to sit on the Liverpool bench next season.

Similarly, Newcastle is free to use Tino Librament, but he is outstanding for the Magpie. It would be interesting to see where 27 years old ends. He aims to leave Atletico Madrid in the summer and join a large club that can compete for the trophy.

Several other European clubs are monitoring his situation, but it is still unclear whether Liverpool and Newcastle will pursue interests with official offers signed to players. The opportunity to participate in the Premier League champions is very appealing to any player, but they need to offer him a clear role on the side to convince the players in the move.
