        • Their best attacker since Lukaku: Everton’s lead race lends a £50 million star

Hill Dickinson Stadium will begin his life in the Premier League, playing host to Brighton & Hove Albion, a week after Everton’s season opener left Leeds United, with the newly promoted.

David Moet deserves all the praise this year for his incredible work at Merseyside, replacing Sean Dish in January, earning the tired 16th-place outfit, one point above the drop zone, 13th, about 23 points above the descending Leicester City.

The shift was profound, but now Moys has to maintain and actually move forward with his progress in a new environment.

So much uncertainty. It’s more than a measure of anxiety. However, we will multiply that amount ten times as much as we are excited about the new era. Of course, Everton needs a signature to make it happen, and there’s a striker at the top of his wish list.

Everton chases after a new striker

According to the Spanish outlet, Everton is interested in hitting a contract with Corinthian striker Yuri Alberto, but Atletico Madrid also has been in the race and has in fact established contact with the Brasileiro Serie.

Thankfully, Alberto is not a priority on the La Liga side. And if Toffee laid the foundations over the next few weeks, they may find themselves moving forward.

Everton is valued at 20 million euros (approximately £17 million), and has been bid for Brazilians and joined by Rome, owned by Friedkin Group.

What the Eurebert brings to Everton

The club, described as “clinical” by South American football expert Nathan Joyes, was able to settle on the European stage at the age of 24 and hit the gold by winning the race signing Alberto, ready to improve the Toffee team that is about to advance towards Premier League soccer upper Echelon.

Everton, like a Brazilian forward, enjoyed the reward of signing Richarlison from Watford Way, but would have missed the fiery personality and dynamism of the 28-year-old after selling him to Tottenham Hotspur for £60 million in 2022.

According to FBREF, Alberto ranks in the top 10% of his advancement in goals and pass completions and air duels scored per 90 in this year’s Serie A season. His roundness and domination as a focus suggests that he could be the man Everton is looking for in front of their projects.

Data via the transfer market

Alberto knows the path around the finish, don’t make a mistake. The mobile and determined striker added a bit of talent on the side of Moyes, and also raised the threat level in front of the goal.

While he has no doubt proven the Dominic Calvert Lewin upgrade we’ve come to know over the past few years, he could be a version of Richarlison, too.

Iliman Ndiaye recovered the Blues’ thrill factor, but Richarlison’s tenacity and hunger gave Everton something special and distinctive in four consistent seasons, spending time with 152 assists with 53 goals and 152 assists at the club.

With Carlo Ancelotti once becoming “one of Europe’s top strikers,” Richarson’s days at Tottenham left much to be desired.

Still, his Brazilian tenacity remains a central part of his skill set, and now Alberto is able to emulate that quality under Moet’s wings.

Physically impressive, intelligent and naturally prolific, Richard Lison may have linked her back to Merseyside in recent months, but Everton would be better off entering a new chapter and pursuing a fresh, younger face instead.

Still, Alberto could be the next version of the Maverick club in South America.
