  • Aaron will complete Ibrox Medical and join the Rangers
  • Rangers reach agreement to sell Robin Propper, GERS defender
        • Concerns that Rangers are currently at risk of losing £20 million

Glasgow Rangers and new Ibrox owner 49ers Enterprises have reached a deal to sell the GERS player without the approval of new manager Russell Martin.

Aaron will complete Ibrox Medical and join the Rangers

GERS has already made midfielder Lyall Cameron the first official signing of the summer at Ibrox, but the 49ers and Martin are ahead of the Champions League qualifiers against the Scottish premier openers at Panathinaikos and Motherwell.

Martin admitted that he is “excited” with the players the Rangers are targeting and hopes that a “minority” will arrive over the next few weeks.

“I honestly don’t know, but I think it’s going to be a few times (inches) before the European game. That’s certainly true. Everyone is working very hard. A large part of the work of the past week or so is identifying the characters and talent we want in the buildings that we can add to this group and add from a cultural and performance perspective.

One of them appears to be set on Max Aaron. On the course, the right back arrives on a straight loan agreement from Bournemouth. The defender is drawn in Ibrox and has already completed medical care.

If Aarons are set to sign, it’s a case of one defender and may turn off recent updates on Ibrox.

Rangers reach agreement to sell Robin Propper, GERS defender

According to a report broadcast by Sport Witness, Rangers have in principle agreed to sell Robin Prosper to FC Twente for 1.5 million euros (£1.27 million).

However, the transaction has not yet been completed “due to recent changes within Rangers technical staff.” That means Martin hasn’t given the green light to the exit yet.

The report adds that “a meeting between the propper and the new head coach will soon be planned and will be crucial in the further process of the transfer.”

This will be a real set-off for GERS.

FC Twente manager Joseph Oosting spoke publicly about the propper’s transfer. “I contacted him via the app. I want Robin. Will he come? That’s the question.”

Added to another Dutch outlet: “We’re in touch and hope he’ll come back. There’s no point in discussion. I think that will work. But in football, you can’t be sure of that.”

After spending £1.5 million on Prodel 12 months ago, Rangers will suffer a small loss if the £1.27 million deal goes on.
