Ryan Branny secured a victory at Martinsville, propelling himself once again into the championship race. Despite the confusion during the restart, NASCAR stuck with the race order at the moment cars crossed the start/finish line, much to Branny’s advantage. Though he had pitted earlier, the grip from his fresher tires helped him succeed in the closing laps.
