Sunderland wants to secure a long-term future for Romaine Manle during the summer transfer.

According to a report from Sky Sports, they are discussing the new contract with attackers. There were rumours that he could join PSV Eindhoven this summer. The Dutch costume hopes to secure his signature, but the Black Cat has no plans to let him leave.

Romaine Mundle is a convenient option

The winger on the left is a key player in Sunderland and his versatility will be extremely useful for the Black Cat next season. They have secured promotion to the Premier League and need more depth and quality on the side. Having a versatile attacker like him who is capable on either side could prove to be a big bonus.

The 22-year-old has six goals and two assists in 36 games for the Black Cat.

The former Tottenham youth player was very impressive for Sunderland during his promotional campaign, scoring five goals in 24 appearances. He has suffered from injuries issues last season and hopes to get over them in future campaigns. It remains to be seen whether he will be able to establish himself as a Sunderland player in the Premier League.

The player will try to prove himself on top flights, and the opportunity to stay in Sunderland may be attractive to him. It remains to be seen whether he is ready to sign a new contract with the club in the coming weeks.

Apart from improving the current team, Sunderland should prioritize keeping the best players.
