“Okay. What will you do? he Do you want to do it? ”

“Would you like to join a boy band?”

If they found a new F1 film, they might have caught a familiar publication that makes cameos when the main characters, Sony Hayes (Brad Pitt) and Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), revisited their formative years as the next big thing in F1, and via the cover story of an early 1990s issue.

Hairstyles were not the only aspect of the cover that reflected the era they represent. The filmmaker’s attention to detail went on to ensure that the racer’s logos lasted for a period.

“I want that problem to complete my collection,” Racer Editor-in-Chief Lawrence Foster joked. “I would like to go to the archives to see if I can find clarity from the Hayes/Cervantes photo shoot.”

The racers were not directly involved in creating the mock covers used in the film, but the racer founder, CEO and president Paul Pfaner said he was pleased that the brand was chosen to help flesh out the story.

“This welcome inclusion in ‘F1’ was the result of a racer team providing a respected magazine for 33 years,” he said. Thank you to the F1 Movie Team for this creative use of Racer Magazine in establishing the backstory of Sonny Hayes and Ruben Cervantes. ”

Viewers with Eagle Eye will also appear in the current racer logo, which is more familiar elsewhere in the film.

We’ll let you know when you win a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
