  • Spurs preparing moves for Premier League stars
  • Why is Spurs’ latest target signed by Kudus-Esking?

Tottenham Hotspur fans have been less than the happiest Daniel Levy in recent years amid constant dissatisfaction with the lack of spending within the transfer market.

The owners have spent more than £700 million on new additions since opening the new stadium in 2020, many of which have not been able to cut the performance they needed in the Premier League.

The investment is one thing, but key players were also offloaded during such periods, including record-breaking scorer Harry Kane, who set out in a £82 million deal to join Bayern Munich in 2023.

After LilyWhites finished its previous campaign in 17th place, more signatures will be desperately needed in the coming weeks before it closes on September 1st.

Many players are currently in sight, many of them trying to build on Europa League victory, making improvements to the options at their disposal now that Thomas Frank is free.

Spurs preparing moves for Premier League stars

Crystal Palace star Ebe Kieze is the biggest name mentioned in the move to join the Spurs this summer, and is keen on the contract for the player himself to join Lily White.

The two clubs are constantly debated about the movements of the 27-year-olds, with fees likely to be in the £60 million area, and Arsenal is also interested in his signature.

But he’s not the only Eagles talent currently in their vision, according to TeamTalk, and centre back Mark Guech is also a player with a tier moving.

Their reports claim that Frank’s part has personally made an offer to players who are said to be “very, very good.”

It also said Guehi, which remains in a year-long deal at Selhurst Park, could be available for a fee in the £45 million region.

Why is Spurs’ latest target signed by Kudus-Esking?

Mohammed Kudus maintained Spurs’ biggest addition throughout the summer, costing an astounding £55 million from West Ham United’s rivals in the early week of July.

The Ghanaians were brought to the club to provide the quality needed for the attacking department. This has already been done as seen in two competitive outings at Lily White.

The 24-year-old took the ninth place role against PSG in the UEFA Super Cup final and then moved on to a more accessible right-hand role against the newly promoted Burnley.

He was able to register two assists for Richarrison, including his great acrobatic efforts in the second half.

Although it’s an early age for the former Ajax star, he has already demonstrated his quality in North London, and Guehi’s move could potentially be a similar deal this summer.

The two operate in different positions, but in the Premier League, the pair comparison is clear, with both joining Lily White from the side.

As seen in Kudus’ league debut, both have proven quality on the UK’s top flights, but Guehi’s underlying statistics are just as impressive – he can have a big impact on the sides throughout 2025/26 and beyond.

The British, labelled “incredible” by creator HLTCO, completed 84% of the passes they attempted.

The Palace star was equally impressive, winning 1.8 tackles per 90, winning with a success rate of 66%, allowing him to add even more quality to Lily White’s already strong backline.

His talentless talent was further reflected in the tally of 1.6 blocks and 4.8 clearances per 90 last season, allowing Frank to help his quest to improve his defensive record, which the sides recognized 65 times on 38 outings in 2024/25.

Given the interests of the defending champions, it is unclear whether Guehi would like to move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before the September 1 deadline.

But any deal is a phenomenal business, allowing centre-backs to follow in the footsteps of Kudus and support the club’s potential to build on the recent European victory.
