  • Lowe compares to Sunderland Target Fatau

Sunderland fans are already planning a journey to Burnley over the weekend, as the Black Cats’ second Premier League new season of edge fixtures have never been before.

The Wearside outfit kicked straight to Sirock on the top flight in a 3-0 win over West Ham United, but Claret succumbed to a disappointing 3-0 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur.

Even if the Regis Le Bliss men follow up on their first day success with a victory on the road, expect to be busy in the transfer division until the September deadline.

After all, some other new signatures that add to 12 calls this summer won’t hurt anyone.

The ambitious black cat is associated with many exciting names. FC Copenhagen centre back Gabriel Pereira is reportedly catching eye with the roughly £9 million mark, in addition to Abdulfatau riding on the radar in the attack.

Unfortunately, Sunderland may think it’s a £30 million move, as Leicester City wingers are too much to cough despite excessive spending in the market. Thankfully, this alternative target can do the job instead.

Certainly, according to French outlet RMC, former Norwich City forward Jonathan Lowe appears to be leaving Marseille this summer as he says that a recent altercation with teammate Adrien Rabiott allows the League One club to leave.

Both players in question have since been sold, and the Lowe is said to be available for a fee on the £17 million mark. This brings Sunderland’s interest.

Much less than Fatau’s asking price, Sunderland was able to secure a major upgrade at Ghanaian forward by swooping for Low, regardless of his bad behavior under Roberto de Zerbi.

Of course, Fatau is his own glorious star for Leicester, and the 21-year-old is interesting with seven goals and up to 15 assists, an impressive one for the Marti Sifientes man.

But it is considered an all-powerful risk of eliminating £30 million on Foxes’ No. 7, especially if Rowe is waiting on a wing ready to pick up for £13 million.

Fatau only introduces two assists due to his Premier League troubles at King Power Stadium. Meanwhile, Lowe became a capable performer on the French top flight against Marseille – apart from his ferocious exploits with Norwich, he scored 13 stunning goals from 56 games – despite now getting sour at the Stade Bellodrome.

Three goals and four assists have gone down the Lowe path with pictures of Marseille’s first team before recent worsening developments. At the end of the ex-Canary youth product, he can quickly enter the Premier League with Sunderland and take the mature tough division in France by going out of the boys’ side.

Rowe certainly slotted easily into Le Bris’ team, with England U21 showing off his direct progressive mentality in this gorgeous strike in League One action last season.

Fatau, on the other hand, is known for his selfish approach – as seen when he created a big chance for Mammoth 32 in league action during Leicester’s promotion to the Premier League – Zero’s goal is worried next to his name on the demanding top flight.

In another reality, Le Bliss and the Company dives for Fataou. The Frenchman is handed another youthful project.

But if Sunderland wants another player who can instantly succeed and make them a very top and dangerous prospect, Premier League rookies should be trying to land a “scintillation” winger, previously labelled by Pandit Carlton Palmer – before the windows close.
