Crystal Palace is set to sign Duncasey from Arsenal.

According to standards reports, Crystal Palace has agreed to a 18-year-old compensation fee with Arsenal.

The player finished his contract this summer and Arsenal offered him a professional deal. However, Casey decides to decline it, and he wants to explore other options.
Crystal Palace is pleased to have secured his service.

The highly rated offensive midfielder was outstanding for Arsenal under 18 teams last season, scoring 18 goals in 21 games.

Dan Casey could become an asset

He has a bright future ahead of him and he will try to prove himself at the highest level. The transition to Crystal Palace can be an exciting opportunity. He aims to force his path into his first team plan in the future.

The player previously revealed he is a Liverpool fan and loved watching Stephen Gerrard and Philip Coutinho while he was growing up. He is also a admirer of Arsenal star Martin Ødegaard.

“When I was younger, I was a Liverpool fan and loved watching Stephen Gerrard and Philip Coutinho,” Casey said. “But now playing for Arsenal, I really admire Odegard. He’s a top player.”

Crystal Palace has done well to invite talented young players in recent seasons, and they have taken care of them as first-team players. They want to do the same thing as Casey. If an 18-year-old can fulfill his potential, this deal may seem like a master stroke in the long run.

Meanwhile, Arsenal can benefit from future sales by including a sell-on clause in its contract. The 18-year-old could have moved to an elite club in the future if he could impress Crystal Palace. Arsenal hopes to make a profit from it.

On the other hand, losing a talented young player like him would be a blow to Arsenal, but they couldn’t stop him from leaving. The player wanted to try another challenge, but he refused to sign a professional contract with Arsenal despite being offered.

A move to Crystal Palace might be ideal for him. He could potentially get more opportunities at the mid-table club compared to Arsenal. It remains to be seen whether the Eagles are ready to give him the opportunity he needs to develop.
