The two Premier League clubs asked about the potential moves in the January transfer window for Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus, as reported here for daily briefings.

The Brazilian is still recovering from a serious injury, but he has one eye in the 2026 World Cup and is looking for a possible move this winter.

West Ham and Everton are two clubs that have been appointed to me as potential suitors for Jesus, and both sides have asked about his situation.

Jesus may be tempted to return to Brazil, but first team football is important to him as he is working on Carlo Ancelotti’s plans for the next World Cup.

Speaking to a source that has been connected to the industry today, I was told: “Gabriel Jesus accepts leaving in January. He feels he can win himself on the radar of Carlo Ancelotti for the 2026 World Cup, but he needs to play.

“He’s been seduced by the move to Brazil, but he has also been interested in the Premier League. West Ham and Everton are inquiring. It’s still more than that.”

However, since Jesus has high wages, it is still unclear whether anyone will be able to approach the £265,000 a week he earns at Emirates Stadium.

Time to leave Arsenal

If Jesus wants to revive his career with his signature on Victor’s Gyoker this summer, then it’s no doubt about when Jesus leaves Arsenal.

The 28-year-old could still have it on him to make a big impact at the highest level, but for some reason it didn’t happen to him at Arsenal.

Gunner needed someone like Gyoker, the more natural finisher in the box, but Jesus had bad luck with his fitness during his time in North London.
