  • Amorim says Manchester United have ‘no excuses’
  • Cristian Orozco is ‘on track’ to sign with Man United
    • Manchester United eye on £80m star Man City want to sign in January

Manchester United are currently looking to sign the South American wonder and are ‘on their way’ to secure a move, according to reports.

Amorim says Manchester United have ‘no excuses’

Man United will definitely want to avoid facing Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park after suffering a disappointing defeat to Everton at Old Trafford on Monday.

But these are the cards they have been dealt and Ruben Amorim’s side now have the task of getting back to winning ways on one of the Premier League’s toughest grounds.

But the Man United manager has no time for excuses this season – he told reporters during the match. “It’s the same with our club, because last year we always had to win every game and we got a lot of things and a lot of criticism for not winning.

“So there are no excuses for our club. Regarding Europe, we have already talked about Europe, we said the same thing when we were there last year and we are saying the same thing this year, about the advantages and disadvantages of not being in Europe. So there are no excuses. Last year and this year, we always have to win games.”

If other results go well, the Red Devils could move up to fourth place with a win, which would be a big boost after 13 games. On the other hand, if they lose, they could drop to 14th in the region they were used to last season.

INEOS and Amorim will know how important Champions League qualification is on and off the pitch. A move away from action could attract players like Elliott Anderson, who is currently also interested in Manchester City.

They also have already agreed a contract with young South American Cristian Orozco, making them an attractive option for more young players.

Cristian Orozco is ‘on track’ to sign with Man United

According to Fabrizio Romano, Orozco is currently “on his way” to sign for Man United after INEOS signed a deal worth $1 million with Fortaleza, and is traveling with lead scout Giuseppe Antonaccio.

Officials at Old Trafford signed the 17-year-old in the hope that he would follow the same path that other players have followed many times before in South America.

The Premier League has a number of star players who started their careers in South America before rising to stardom in English football. Usually the likes of Brighton & Hove Albion have made the most of it, but Chelsea and Man United are starting to make the most of it.

The Blues currently have one of the best teenagers in the world in Estevao Willian, and if Orozco is anywhere near as talented as the winger, United are in for a real hit.
