Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Milan attacker Rafael Leao.

The 26-year-old has been doing very well for the Italian club and his performances have attracted the attention of the North London club. Mikel Arteta believes he needs to sign a quality winger to get the best out of Victor Gokeres.

He feels the Milan attacker can unlock the Sweden international’s true potential. Gökeres needs more service and a quality wide player could definitely make a difference in the final third.

Leo will add speed, flair and unpredictability in the final third. He will help create chances for his team-mates, but it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will respond to their interest with a formal offer and conclude a deal.

According to Fichajes, they are also keeping an eye on Real Madrid’s Rodrygo Goes. It will be interesting to see which of the two players ends up at Arsenal. They are one of the biggest clubs in the world and the opportunity to join them would be attractive for both players.

Meanwhile, the Portuguese international proved himself for Milan and his country. Now might be the perfect time for him to take on a new challenge. A move to the Premier League could be ideal for him. He has the physique for English football and could be an important player for Arsenal.

The Gunners have the financial wherewithal to persuade Milan to sell the player, but it remains to be seen how the situation will develop. He is highly regarded across Europe, with coach Luka Modric recently describing him as a “fantastic” player. He has the ability to develop further and a move to the Premier League could accelerate his development.
