Chelsea recently won 4-1 against Aston Villa, but Jadon Sancho disappointed onlookers with his unprofessional behavior during the match.

The attacker was introduced just after the hour mark to swing the game in the West Midlands club’s favor, but his first action after coming on was a chat with former teammate Cole Palmer. He was also seen hugging Chelsea captain Reece James after the final whistle.

Jadon Sancho clash

Former Premier League scout Brian King said the behavior was unprofessional and believed the player should be focusing on helping his team rather than chatting with rivals. Sancho was previously on loan at Chelsea and is sure to share the same sentiments as his former team-mate.

But King believes the attackers should have been more professional.

Former Aston Villa scout Brian King speaks out Villa News said: “To be honest, I thought it was very unprofessional.

“The only explanation is that he forgot what color shirt he was wearing.

“Hello to Cole Palmer, who came on as a substitute? If it was that important, we could have done that before the game. It’s even worse because Villa were losing.”

“It doesn’t matter who your friends are. You don’t do that until the game is over. If you want to be with your friends and you don’t want to be at Villa, why are you there? That’s very unprofessional. But it doesn’t matter who your friends are. It doesn’t matter who your friends are. You don’t do that until the game is over. If you want to be with your friends and you don’t want to be at Villa, why are you there? That’s very unprofessional.”

“I didn’t think he would get along well with the staff or the other players. That’s not a good sign and it begs the question of where he’s going to go at the end of the season.”

Sancho needs a new start

It has been a disappointing season for Sancho at the West Midlands club. He will leave the team at the end of the season, but it remains to be seen where he will end up.

A move to the Premier League didn’t work out at all and a return to Germany might be ideal for him. He is truly at the peak of his abilities and will get regular opportunities to get his career back on track.

Sancho should aim to join a club where he will be given a defined role and regular opportunities. He has shown his quality previously in Germany and will be desperate to regain his form and confidence.
