And according to Sport Bild, quoted and translated by Sport Witness, Eintracht appear to have to sell players due to financial issues, giving them a boost as Brown’s asking price is thought to be around 60 million euros.

Manchester United could join Real Madrid and Barcelona in the race to sign the German international, although other Premier League clubs have also been linked with the player in the past.

Our understanding is that Arsenal are also among Brown’s fans, while Fichajes’ recent report also mentions interest from Liverpool.

Should Manchester United sign Nathaniel Brown for €60 million?

It’s never easy to know if a move will work out, but it’s clear Brown is highly valued and probably won’t cost that much for an in-form player of his generation.

United also need a new left-back, as an upgrade to the aging and injury-prone Luke Shaw, and with Patrick Dorg playing in a more attacking role of late.

We therefore give the potential Brown-MUFC deal a transfer suitability rating of 19/25 and find him to be an excellent fit…

Manchester United could be favorites for Nathaniel Brown

It’s still early days, but there are many good reasons to think United are the frontrunners to sign Brown.

The 22-year-old certainly ticks a lot of boxes for a move to Old Trafford, especially if they qualify for the Champions League, which is now thought to be a likely move.

He also has a better chance of becoming a starter at United than at Liverpool or Arsenal, which have many other left-backs.

Meanwhile, Real and Barça could also be interested, but Premier League clubs are often able to outspend Europe’s leading clubs these days, so Brown could choose United for their higher wages, while United may find it easier to meet Frankfurt’s demands for the player.
