rear Rory McIlroy’s historic victory at the 2026 Mastersthe PGA Tour’s schedule continues with the season’s fourth signature event at RBC Heritage. Many of the world’s top players made the short trip from Augusta, Georgia to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina to play shots at the restored Harbor Town Golf Links.
While McIlroy will take a week off after winning back-to-back green jackets, most of the top players on the PGA Tour have been active. That includes Scottie Scheffler and Cameron Young, who just finished in the top five at the Masters and are hoping to bring some positive momentum to Harbor Town. Collin Morikawa, who finished in the top 10 in his first start since injuring his lower back at Augusta National, will be aiming for his second signature event win of the season. Chris Gotterup, Jacob Bridgman and Akshay Bhatia are among the other PGA Tour winners competing this week hoping to increase their totals, with Matt Fitzpatrick joining them as they look to take a 36-hole lead to the finish.
Other stars such as Xander Schauffele, Ludwig Oberg, Tommy Fleetwood, Russell Henry, Jordan Spieth, Viktor Hovland and Justin Thomas are also aiming for their first win in 2026. Ball striking is the key to who wins in Havertown’s narrow passageways, and the course has produced a strong list of winners in recent years, including Thomas, Scheffler and Fitzpatrick. And Spieth has won the past four tournaments at Hilton Head.
