Julian Alvarez continues to be linked with a move from Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window.

Real Madrid’s offer of 150 million euros for the Argentina international was rejected yesterday, with Barcelona and Arsenal also eyeing him.

AS reports that Barcelona are not planning to offer a premium for the 26-year-old striker and that Alvarez’s only possible option is Arsenal.

Arsenal have expressed an interest in signing the Argentine attacker, but it remains to be seen whether he will decide on a move. They need to add more goals to their squad and the 26-year-old would be a great addition.

He scored 20 goals last season and had nine assists along the way. He is a top class player who will improve Arsenal’s final third. The 26-year-old is a complete forward who creates chances for his teammates and also contributes to scoring goals.

Atletico Madrid have no plans to release any of their key players in the summer and Arsenal will have to make a hefty offer to convince them. They aim to win the Premier League title and dominate English football in the upcoming season. They need top-class players at their disposal and the South American could be a game-changer for them. He would be a huge upgrade over Victor Gokeres.

The Sweden international scored 20 goals last season, but his overall play was quite underwhelming. Arsenal need someone who can add creativity and goals to the team.

Álvarez currently plays for Manchester City in the Premier League and could make a full-fledged move for the London club. It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be able to seal a deal.
