Atalanta midfielder Ederson has been linked with a move from Italy this summer.
He had previously come very close to joining Manchester United, but that move ultimately fell apart. Apparently there was a problem with his medical care. According to Football Insider, Newcastle United are currently interested in signing the Brazilian central midfielder.

Newcastle need Ederson
We need more quality in the middle of the park. Sandro Tonali has been sold to Tottenham Hotspur, and Bruno Guimarães is also linked with a departure.
Ederson could be an interesting signing for Newcastle. He will add control, creativity, physicality and defensive power to the team. He is a complete midfielder with the qualities to succeed at Newcastle.
