  • Romano reveals Forest green light to sign Zivairo Reid
  • Nottingham Forest are favorites to sign Lukas Bergvall

Nottingham Forest have received a significant boost from Feyenoord in their race to sign Zivairo Reid, as they have launched a new offer for the right-back.

Tricky Trees have already enjoyed a great summer with the arrival of Xavaa Schlager and the arrival of Ousmane Diomand from Sporting Club. Now they are trying to hand Oliver Glassner his next contract.

It’s certainly worth reading. The Dutchman, like Neco Williams, can play at left-back or right-back. In one move, Glasner would upgrade Ola Aina and get a backup for Williams.

As far as Aina is concerned, the numbers are not very easy to read. They struggled with injuries last season, but given the ruthlessness of Premier League football, that would be where Reid would be if he arrived this summer.

If Romano’s latest news is anything to go by, it means that an agreement is certainly on the way between Feyenoord and the City Ground officials, who aim to keep the club open in the summer.

Romano reveals Forest green light to sign Zivairo Reid

As reported by Romano, Nottingham Forest have submitted a new bid to sign Reid. The latest offer is worth around €20 million (approximately £17 million) and the Dutchman is now open to joining the Midlands club, giving him the green light.

It remains to be seen whether Feyenoord will accept Forest’s second offer, but it is certainly a positive sign that the two clubs are continuing negotiations.

The 20-year-old full-back, described as “fantastic” by scout Jacek Kulig, could be on his way to the Premier League and Nottingham Forest as the new season rapidly approaches.

Nottingham Forest are favorites to sign Lukas Bergvall

If Reid can be counted on, Forest won’t be giving up on their goals easily this summer. Alongside the right-back, the Midlands club are also among the favorites to sign Lukas Bergvall from Tottenham Hotspur.

The midfielder has made it clear to the north London club that he wants to leave, but will only be sold for a hefty fee this summer. Whether Forest, or any other club, reach that price remains a big question.

After losing Elliott Anderson to Manchester City, there is no doubt that Forest need another midfield star ahead of next season.
