Former AEW TNT Champion Kevin Knight recently became a part of the expansive Don Callis Family, joining the faction earlier this June on “AEW Dynamite,” much to the surprise of viewers. While the group already boasts nearly 15 male members, Knight shared with WRESTHINGS on YouTube that he believes the faction is missing a key element: female wrestlers.
Knight explained, “The Don Callis Family needs female power right now. We have the size, speed with me, and legacy with [Kazuchika] Okada, but adding women would really balance things out. It could be one, two, or three women. From the current roster, I really like Red Velvet and Queen Aminata—their energy would bring a fresh dynamic. We need balance because right now it’s a lot of testosterone and constant fighting.”
Regarding the internal conflicts within the faction, Knight thinks those clashes are what enhance the group’s appeal and contribute to the “Don Callis Family lore.” He believes the tension drives everyone to strive for the top spot. Knight himself is aiming to reclaim his position at the pinnacle of the scene after dropping the TNT Championship to Darby Allin in a falls count anywhere match at AEW All In London 2026.
