Brayden Edwards added to his strong tournament performance by scoring his second goal, a well-placed one-timer that pushed the score to 3-2 against the Red Wings, with assist from Atley Calvert. Edwards previously played predominantly with the ECHL’s Wheeling Nailers, where he tallied 14 goals and 33 points in 55 games last season, including four goals in 17 playoff outings. He will look to make an impact with the AHL’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins this year.
