At the UFC 331 weigh-ins held Friday morning in Los Angeles, all 24 fighters scheduled for Saturday’s event stepped on the scale. You can watch MMA Fighting’s live coverage of the official weigh-ins through the stream above.
The headline bout features Joshua Van defending his flyweight championship against former long-time champ Alexandre Pantoja in a highly anticipated rematch. Their initial encounter took place at UFC 323 last December, where Pantoja aimed to secure his fifth consecutive title defense. Unfortunately, just 26 seconds into that fight, Pantoja sustained an arm injury, which forced him to forfeit the title to Van.
In Pantoja’s absence, Van successfully defended his belt once, defeating Tatsuro Taira in a Fight of the Year contender at UFC 328. Now, the two are set to settle their rivalry once and for all this Saturday. Both fighters must weigh no more than 125 pounds to compete for the flyweight title.
The co-main event features a five-round lightweight battle between contenders Arman Tsarukyan and Mauricio Ruffy, with a possible title shot on the line. For this bout, the fighters must weigh 156 pounds or less.
The official UFC 331 weigh-ins begin live above at 12 a.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT, while the ceremonial weigh-ins are scheduled for 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
