The 20-year-old, who has already won a Classic, currently leads the jockey title race ahead of the defending champion Oisin Murphy, and he will be riding both of my recommended horses.

Persian Spirit (nap) is expected to benefit from the slow ground conditions and still has room to improve.
This four-year-old filly began her career with Richard Hannon, where she won twice. Her recent race at Newcastle, which was her first after a year out and her debut for trainer Ed Bethell, was promising despite finishing behind the leaders. Since then, she’s been sold for 27,000 guineas.
She should now be fitter for this race, which will be just her eighth-ever run, indicating further progress is possible. Billy Loughnane, currently chasing the jockey championship, is booked to ride her.

For my second and final tip of the day, I’m backing Bradbury, trained by Ed Bethell and ridden by Billy Loughnane.
Bradbury can be a challenging ride; he dislikes the whip and requires a gentle approach. However, he has already won a couple of 1m 2f handicaps this season.
Although his most recent performance at Nottingham lacked a strong finish, he traveled well during the race, showing he may still have more to offer. The shorter distance combined with slow going could suit him well.
