Dynamic Pricing (IRE), a Grade 1 winner trained by Chad Brown and owned by Klaravich Stables, showcased a powerful finishing kick to secure victory in Sunday’s $175,000 Forever Together Stakes. This 1 1/16-mile turf race for fillies and mares at Belmont Park marked jockey Manny Franco’s third win in four rides on the nine-race card. The 5-year-old bay filly by Night of Thunder entered this race off a fifth-place finish in the Grade 1 Dunkin’ Diana at Saratoga in July. Her last win had come at Saratoga the previous August in the Perfect Sting Stakes (Listed), shortly after capturing the Grade 1 Just A Game.
Lee Vickers, assistant to Brown, commented on Dynamic Pricing’s progress, noting that the filly has settled into a consistent training routine and is finally flourishing, looking “fantastic” after her win. On Sunday’s turf, rated as good, Dynamic Pricing earned her fifth stakes victory and third on softer turf, having previously won the Just a Game and the Grade 2 Edgewood in May 2024 at Churchill Downs. The Irish-bred filly, who improved her record to six wins, one second, and four thirds from 16 starts, earned $96,250 with a $5.80 payout on a $2 win wager.
Vickers highlighted the advantage her European bloodline provided on the softened ground, which favored her running style despite the slow early pace. Dynamically positioned near the back early on, Dynamic Pricing moved steadily to the outside and threaded through the field behind frontrunners Modarosa and Ashikidah, as the favorite Destino d’Oro lagged at the rear.
Jockey Manny Franco described a moment of adjustment on the softer track near the three-eighths pole but expressed confidence in the filly’s familiarity with the surface. Modarosa led the field through moderate fractions, challenged by Ashikidah, yet Dynamic Pricing unleashed her final surge in the stretch to nip Modarosa by a neck in a final time of 1:43 flat.
Franco recounted how Dynamic Pricing found her rhythm and responded as they approached the home stretch, asserting her dominance late. Destino d’Oro finished 1 ½ lengths behind in third, with Table Flirt and Ashikidah completing the order. Brown’s Oversubscribed and Ozara were both scratched, with the latter withdrawn due to the soft turf conditions, according to trainer Miguel Clement.
Riley Mott’s Modarosa fought valiantly on the lead, with jockey Kendrick Carmouche praising her effort despite being overtaken. Brad Cox-trained Destino d’Oro’s rider Junior Alvarado expressed no excuses for their third-place result, acknowledging the filly was expected to come from behind but could not close the gap.
Bred in Ireland by Epona Bloodstock, Dynamic Pricing is out of the Dutch Art mare Shemda. She was acquired for $204,442 at the 2022 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.
