Kylian Mbappe remarked that it would be “disrespectful” to suggest that his France teammate Michael Olise should join him at Real Madrid this summer.
Olise generated considerable buzz after a remarkable second season with Bayern Munich, contributing to the team’s triumphs in both the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal.
He concluded the Bundesliga season with 34 direct goal contributions (15 goals, 19 assists), setting a record for wingers since Opta began tracking data in the German top flight in the 2004-05 season.
Only Harry Kane (41) had a higher goal contribution in the Bundesliga than Olise, who also netted five goals and provided seven assists in 13 Champions League matches.

When asked if he could follow in Cristiano Ronaldo’s footsteps and play for his country at age 41, Mbappe expressed skepticism.
“To be honest, considering the country I play for, France would never allow me to play until I’m 41,” revealed Mbappe.
“Cristiano has shown that if you stay fit, you can perform at a high level for a long time. However, I don’t envision that being my case.”
