Ali claimed the title from Hotch at TNA Lockdown on August 23, and following that, his ally Special Agent 0 interfered in a Number One Contender’s match between Hotch and Miguel on the September 3 episode, causing a no-contest at Ali’s direction.
In tag team action, BDE and Rich Swann join forces to face The Righteous’ Vincent and Dutch. Despite The Righteous’ repeated attempts to persuade BDE to join them, he’s resisted so far. In fact, on the September 10 episode, BDE turned on Vincent, attacking him and costing him a singles match against Swann.
The Elegance Brand’s M By Elegance will learn who her next challenger for the Knockouts Television Championship is, as Jada Stone, Elayna Black, Harley Hudson, and Gabby Forza compete in a Four-Way Number One Contenders Match. M defeated Stone to win the championship tournament finals. Forza recently failed to capture the Knockouts World Championship from Xia Brookside on the September 10 episode. Meanwhile, Hudson is striving to prove her value in TNA under pressure from Director of Operations Daria Rae, and Black is aiming to win her first title.
Also on the card, Elijah goes head-to-head with The System’s Eddie Edwards amid growing tensions between their factions and Elijah’s partner Ricky Sosa. Additionally, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy will appear after Jeff was sidelined several weeks ago by a mysterious backstage attack.
