At the AEW All Out pay-per-view held at the NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage faced off against The Young Bucks and FTR in a high-stakes AEW Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Ladder Match. The contest began with an intense brawl as Cage bled after a chair shot to the head, Matt Bucks was slammed onto two chairs, and Nick executed a dropkick on Copeland followed by Cage wielding chairs against their opponents. FTR dominated with a ladder assault outside the ring, while Copeland and Cage executed dives from the top rope to the floor. Dax from FTR also suffered a forehead wound. The Young Bucks pulled off a springboard senton on Cash while he was suspended on a ladder, only to be knocked off themselves, crashing onto the top rope.
Copeland was slammed face-first into a ladder and then dropped back-first onto Cage. Nick springboard-dived onto Copeland after climbing the ladder. Copeland and Dax stunned the crowd with a suplex off one ladder through another. Matt Bucks performed a top-rope stomp on Cash before landing a codebreaker on Cage off a ladder. Cash was sent flying over the top rope through a table, followed by Matt hitting a 450 splash through another table on Dax. Cage delivered the Unprettier from the top rope onto Nick, who was laid across a ladder. Copeland struck FTR multiple times with a chair as he ascended the ladder, but Stokley retaliated with a low blow and blinded Cage by throwing powder into his eyes. Stokley was then pushed off a ladder through a table by Copeland.
FTR executed a piledriver on Copeland at ringside on the apron, while The Young Bucks went for daring dives through tables. With three ladders set up, all three teams clashed and tumbled down, including FTR executing a Shatter Machine on Matt Bucks. Copeland was thrown off a ladder after a chair shot, and Cash was backdropped over a ladder thanks to Nick’s push. The Young Bucks sealed their victory after hitting the BTE Trigger on Cage off the ladder, capturing the AEW Tag Team Championship.
