WWE NXT wrestler Keanu Carver seemingly addressed recent reports on social media Tuesday night about a protective order filed against him by another WWE NXT performer. In two tweets that have since been deleted, Carver (real name Kevin Robertson) wrote, “Yall gone sound dumb ash in a month,” followed by, “Fake a*** virtue signaling mfs. Everything done inna dark come to light.”
Carver is now awaiting a hearing scheduled for October 22, which appears to be the subject of his remarks. An additional tweet he posted, still visible, states: “Keep god first.”
The protective order was requested on September 14 by a female NXT wrestler who had been involved in a relationship with Carver. The court issued a temporary order the same day, which remains in place at least until the October 22 hearing. Under its terms, Carver must avoid contacting the petitioner and maintain a distance of at least 500 feet.
Court documents claim Carver repeatedly made unwanted visits to the petitioner’s home and reportedly called her up to 44 times in one day. Evidence presented includes screenshots and security footage, along with accusations of physical abuse and threats during their relationship.
This protective order is a civil proceeding, and there is no confirmation whether any criminal charges will be filed. The allegations have yet to be proven in court.
WWE has not released any official statements regarding Carver’s standing with the company or whether the order affects his access to the WWE Performance Center.
Carver, a former Temple University football player, joined WWE and began training at the Performance Center in 2023. He has appeared on WWE Evolve and LFG, eventually making his debut on the NXT television roster in early 2026. His last match took place on September 12, just two days before the protective order was filed.
Fan Take: This situation highlights the serious off-ring challenges that can impact a wrestler’s career and the broader industry. For fighting fans, it’s a reminder that the personal conduct of athletes matters and can have significant effects on the sport’s reputation and future prospects.
