Cam Young was the best performer at the Presidents Cup by quite some margin according to strokes gained.
Young finished the week at Medinah with a 3-2-0 record, and he gained a whopping 10.57 strokes on the field of 24 players.

The 29-year-old from Scarborough, New York, has elevated his game to an entirely new level over the past 18 months or so.
Cam Young is now a three-time PGA Tour winner, after triumphing at The Wyndham Championship in 2025 and The Players Championship and the Cadillac Championship this year.
Young was one of the favorites to win the Player of the Year award before Scottie Scheffler ended everyone else’s hopes with his Tour Championship victory.
He has excelled at the Ryder Cup and the Presidents Cup, but is still missing a major championship from his résumé.
It surely won’t be long now before he wins one of the big ones.

Webb Simpson predicts Cam Young will do what no golfer has since 2014
While speaking on the Bible Caddie Podcast, Webb Simpson made an incredibly bold prediction about Young.
“Here is my early call on Cam Young and I told the captains this. I think Cam Young wins a major in the next two years by seven or eight shots,“ he said.
“I don’t think he will just win one by one, I think we will see one where he wins by eight to 10.
“He hits it 340 yards, he is an incredible iron player, his distance control is incredible, he is a great wedge player, phenomenal chipper and a great putter.

“He is a very good player. It was fun to see him in action four times.“
While Young is an exceptional player, winning a major championship by eight or more strokes will be an incredibly tough task.
It has only been done five times since 2000.
Tiger Woods won the US Open by 15 strokes at Pebble Beach in 2000, and he recorded an eight-shot win at St Andrews during The Open Championship in the same year.
Rory McIlroy has two eight-stroke major wins to his name – the 2011 US Open and the 2012 PGA Championship.
Martin Kaymer also won a major by eight shots at the 2014 US Open at Pinehurst, and he is currently the last man to achieve that.
Young has the ability to overpower golf courses and dominate fields, but winning a major by eight or more shots may not be possible now, especially given the strength in depth of fields these days.
