Alex Scott has expressed that he has “never witnessed anything like” Jude Bellingham’s recent performances for England in the Nations League.
During the World Cup, Bellingham emerged as one of England’s standout players, scoring seven goals—more than any other member of the team—and providing one assist.
He has continued to shine in the Nations League, particularly excelling in England’s recent 7-0 victory against Croatia.
In that match, Bellingham was involved in four goals, with one goal and three assists, marking the first time he has contributed to so many goals in a single game for England.
Moreover, he is the first player to achieve three assists in a match for England since Trent Alexander-Arnold did so against San Marino in November 2021.
Scott made his debut for England in that game and had the opportunity to witness Bellingham’s brilliance firsthand.
“Honestly, I’ve never seen anything like it,” Scott remarked.
“Watching him live, it’s clear he’s the best midfielder in the world. He is undoubtedly one of the best players globally and a wonderful person.”
“This is common knowledge; fans and everyone recognize what he brings to the team.”
“His talent on the pitch is remarkable, and he sets a standard we all aspire to meet.”
“Though we’re the same age, I see him as a role model for young English talents.”
Ezri Konsa and Alex Scott have both been ruled out of tomorrow night’s game vs Czechia. The pair have returned to their respective clubs for further assessment.

Scott made an impression during his first start, joining Elliot Anderson in midfield and playing 70 minutes before being substituted.
Thomas Tuchel praised the 23-year-old after the match, suggesting that Scott could challenge Declan Rice for a starting position in the future.
Unfortunately, England will miss Scott in their upcoming match against Czechia due to a thigh injury that led to his withdrawal from the squad.
He reportedly felt discomfort before the Croatia match, and reports indicate he may be out for six to eight weeks due to his quadriceps injury.
Scott isn’t the only player returning to their club for treatment, as Ezri Konsa is also sidelined with an injury.
As England prepares to face Czechia, they hold the second position in Group A3, three points behind leaders Spain.
England remains unbeaten in their eight previous matches against Czechia at Wembley, securing six wins and two draws, the latest being a 1-0 victory that capped off their Euro 2020 group stage.
Fan Take: This news underscores the importance of player health and performance continuity for national teams, particularly as young stars like Jude Bellingham rise to prominence. For soccer fans, watching these emergent talents can enhance the excitement of international competitions, potentially shaping the future of the sport for years to come.
