Chelsea will lend and send Aaron Anselmino for the season to accelerate his development, sources notified Catch off side.

Bruce recently signed the 20-year-old defender, but he was soon relived back to his former club Boca Junior.

Chelsea has yet to see Enzo Maresca’s first team ready, so it appears that Chelsea is set to lend Anselmino again.

Sources with ties to the agent industry have revealed that Chelsea is investigating the possibility of lending Anselmino to Strasbourg.

However, multiple sources confirm that Borussia Dortmund, Marseille and Real Betis are also interested in talented young Argentina.

Aaron Anselmino lends Chelsea

There is no final decision yet on Anselmino’s next destination, but sources believe it is likely to be a loan deal during the season.

One source emphasized that “Chelsea is prioritizing player development in an environment where he can play regularly.”

Chelsea have recently signed many top young players, and many had to lend it out before they could win a place with the Stamford Bridge team.

Anselmino looks like another with a bright future, but it could take a little while before he gets the chance to play regularly for Chelsea.

Aaron Anselmino needs to adapt to play in Europe

It’s often a big step coming from South America to Europe, and in the past someone like Anselmino might have started in a competitive league.

For many years, we’ve seen clubs like Porto and Benfica make good use of the South American market, and now Chelsea is heading for that model too.
