The 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup is nearing its conclusion with the tournament now in the semi-final stage.

The U.S. men’s national team is coming off a thrilling penalty shootout win against Costa Rica in the quarter-finals. They are set to face Guatemala on Wednesday, July 2nd at 7 PM on FS1.

In the other semi-final matchup, Mexico, who eliminated Saudi Arabia in the quarter-finals, will play against Honduras at 10 PM, also on FS1.

The U.S. has secured seven Gold Cup titles, with their most recent win in 2021.

Mexico, having recently clinched the Nations League final and the Gold Cup title in 2023, remains a strong contender.

In 2000, a nation other than the U.S. or Mexico won the tournament, with Canada taking the title that year.

Currently, Mexico is slightly favored to win the championship at +100 odds, while the U.S. men’s team follows closely at +110.

Here are the updated championship odds as of July 1st according to DraftKings Sportsbook:

Concacaf Gold Cup Winner Odds:
Mexico: +100 (bet $10 to win $20)
U.S.: +110 (bet $10 to win $21)
Honduras: +1800 (bet $10 to win $190)
Guatemala: +1800 (bet $10 to win $190)

This summer, several key players, such as Christian Pulisic, Jed Robinson, Yunus Musah, Weston McKennie, Tim Weah, and Sergiño Dest, are absent for various reasons. Despite this, the U.S. team found its rhythm, finishing the group stage with three straight wins.

The U.S. triumphantly defeated Costa Rica in the quarter-finals, which concluded with an intense six-round penalty shootout.

Goalkeeper Matt Freeze was pivotal in this success, saving three penalties, while Damion Downs secured the win for the U.S. with a decisive penalty kick.

With odds of +110 for the championship, the U.S. team trails Mexico closely, being the only team advancing without facing penalties.

The odds have generated considerable interest, with many fans hoping for a final match between Mexico and the U.S.

Honduras and Guatemala each stand at +1800, separating Canada and Panama respectively.

Guatemala achieved a notable victory over Canada after winning in a seven-round penalty shootout during the quarter-finals.
