Amid concerns that Louis Diaz could leave the club this summer, Liverpool reportedly took part in the race to sign a versatile winger on a contract worth £17 million.
Al-Nassr is still chasing Diaz’s deal
As Darwin Nunes reportedly is approaching Napoli’s move, the Saudi Arabian Pro League club reportedly turned their attention to Diaz’s alternative Liverpool star. The Columbian winger has yet to sign a new contract at Anfield, and currently only two years remain on his current contract with fresh terms.
The Reds reportedly told Barcelona that Diaz hadn’t been sold this summer, but it will be interesting to see if Al Nasr could change that stance as they prepare to offer around 85 million euros (£73 million) to sign the previous FC Portostar. The people of Anfield have already spent a lot of time this summer and may be tempted to sell Diaz and do so again.
If this was last year, the idea of Diaz’s departure could have been ridiculous after Liverpool decided to welcome Arne Slot’s big addition to the first summer. But a year later, there are questionable marks as to whether the £73 million offer is too good to refuse for the people of Anfield.
Since breaking the British transfer record and signing Florian Whartz and aiming for Hugo Echicchike, rated at £85 million, Diaz has been able to find that he is still breaking down the Ng order in Merseyside. And if so, he will enter the final two years of the current contract, so sales are best for all parties.

At £73 million, Liverpool could not only spend a lot of money signing strikers this summer, but also focused on replacing Diaz with a younger, cheaper option.
Liverpool race signs Musa
As reported by O Jogo and relayed by sports witnesses, Liverpool is now competing to sign Anis Hajj Musa ahead of Fayenode Nottingham Forest, who cherishes the 23-year-old winger for just 20 million euros (£17 million) this summer. The versatile Algerians can play across the frontline and, if Colombians depart, can offer Diaz instant alternatives to the slots.

Musa was able to catch up with Diaz for much of last season, and Newman’s move to the frontline of Liverpool before him could increase his numbers.
The rise of Moussa, who was praised for Scout Jacek Kulig in December for his “great” format and scoring six goals in seven games, was a pleasant surprise at Feyenord.
At just £17 million, the winger could soon become an impressive bargain compared to Liverpool’s high spending this summer. If they can sell Dias for big money at the same time, Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes can take even more impressive business.
