Crystal Palace is trapped in the capture of Osmanedio Mande from the Portuguese Club Sports CP.

The 21-year-old is highly regarded throughout Europe, and Crystal Palace is keen to secure a signature. According to Portuguese Publication A Bola, players are a step away from joining the Eagles. To close the transaction, they will be around 55 million euros.

The players are also closely linked to Chelsea.

The young defender will be the signature of the club record and pay Christian Benteke for the fees he has paid.

The player has a release clause of 80 million euros on his contract, but the Portuguese outfit is ready to sell him for a more reasonable amount. Crystal Palace needs a quality central defender, and the 21-year-old IVO should prove to be a great long-term investment. He could be the ideal alternative to club captain Mark Guech.

England International was the final year of his contract and he decided to leave the club this summer. He will not sign an extension with Crystal Palace, and it makes no sense for them to hold onto him. They aim to remove players for a reasonable amount this summer. Diomande could be the ideal alternative. He has the physicality and technical attributes to thrive in British football. He is looking to establish himself as a key player for the club.

The 21-year-old has received high praise across Europe, and he has the attributes that will develop into a world-class player with proper guidance. If he can fulfill his potential at the London Club, the 55 million euro investment might look like a bargain for the future.

Crystal Palace has a talented team and a quality manager. They were able to win the FA Cup last season, and the young defenders are excited to join them. It is still unclear whether he will be able to make an immediate impact.
