WBO welterweight titleholder Brian Norman Jr. and ex two-division champion Devin Haney are set on a potential showdown later this year. According to reports, their highly anticipated bout is aimed for November, though the venue remains undecided. Norman prefers to compete strictly at welterweight without catchweight or same-day weight checks.

Adding fuel to the speculation, Norman’s manager Adrian Clark tweeted that “the ball is rolling,” signaling progress toward finalizing the fight. On the other side, Devin Haney’s father, trainer, and manager Bill Haney showed interest in taking on Norman, tweeting his intent to find him.

Norman, boasting an undefeated record of 28-0 with 22 knockouts, solidified his reputation with a powerful five-round knockout over Jinsaki. Meanwhile, Haney, also undefeated at 32-0 with 15 knockouts, is working to rebuild his standing after a loss to Ryan Garcia and a less convincing win against Josera Mirez.

Fan Take: This matchup is a must-watch for fight enthusiasts as it pits two undefeated combatants with a lot to prove against one another. The outcome could reshape the welterweight division and heighten excitement around the sport’s elite level.
