Lakers Secure Center Jackson Hayes in Exciting NBA Free Agency Signing!

The 2025 NBA Free Agency period began at 6 PM ET on June 30th, with several major transactions already occurring involving some of the top players on the market. Fox Sports is monitoring all the signings that could significantly impact the NBA Free Agency scene.

On July 3rd, the Lakers signed center Jaxson Hayes to a one-year contract.

On July 2nd, the Lakers secured center Deandre Ayton on a two-year, $16 million deal. The Hornets also signed guard Spencer Dinwiddie for one year.

On July 1st, the Pistons signed forward Duncan Robinson to a three-year, $48 million contract. The Nuggets added guard Tim Hardaway Jr. on a one-year deal, and the Raptors extended center Jakob Poeltl with a four-year, $104 million contract. The Kings signed guard Dennis Schroder for three years at $45 million. The Bucks decided to move on from guard Damien Lillard despite his remaining $113 million contract. The Thunder extended guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for four years at $285 million. The Bucks signed center Miles Turner for four years, $107 million, and the Knicks signed forward Sekou Yabusele to a two-year, $12 million deal.

On June 30th, the Bucks signed guard Gary Trent Jr. for two years, $7.5 million, while the Knicks added guard Jordan Clarkson (details TBA). The Bucks also signed forward Taurean Prince for one year, $7 million. The Hawks signed guard Luke Kennard for one year, $11 million, and the Magic added guard Tyus Jones for one year, $7 million. The Hawks also inked guard Nikkei Alexander-Walker to a four-year, $62 million contract. The Celtics signed center Luke Garza for two years, $5.5 million. The Clippers signed center Brook Lopez for two years, $18 million, and the Rockets secured center Clint Capela for three years, $21.5 million.

The Spurs signed forward Grayson with a four-year, $41 million contract. The Pelicans signed center Kevon Looney for two years, $16 million. The Nuggets signed guard Bones Hyland to a one-year deal. The Wizards signed guard Kevin Porter Jr. for two years, $11 million. The Grizzlies signed guard Ty Jerome for three years, $28 million, while the Mavericks signed guard D’Angelo Russell for two years, $13 million. The Bulls signed guard Tre Jones for three years, $24 million. The Rockets signed forward Dorian Finney-Smith for four years, $53 million. The Pistons re-signed center Paul Reed for two years, $11 million. The Lakers signed forward Jake LaRavia for two years, $11 million. The Grizzlies re-signed forward Santi Aldama for three years, $52.5 million and extended guard Ja Morant for five years, $240 million.
