Manchester United Places Price Tag on Sancho Amid Juventus’ Interest

Juventus is reportedly keen on acquiring Jadon Sancho from Manchester United this summer, with the Premier League side asking for £25 million for the winger.

Sancho made the move to United in 2021 for a fee of around €85 million from Borussia Dortmund, but his time at Old Trafford has been tumultuous, leading to disciplinary issues. He was loaned back to Dortmund in January 2024 and spent last season at Chelsea, making only 83 appearances and scoring 12 goals, with under six assists. As he enters the final year of his contract, his future with Reuben Amorim’s squad appears bleak.

Juventus had hoped to secure Francisco Conceição from Porto following a successful loan stint, but their initial bid was turned down, prompting them to look toward Sancho as an alternative. The Serie A club may pursue both players contingent upon Nico Gonzalez’s potential departure.

Fan Take: This transfer rumor highlights the ongoing shifts in player dynamics within European football. If Sancho moves to Juventus, it could reinvigorate his career while adding depth to the Serie A side, sparking renewed excitement for fans across the leagues.
