Leeds United are trying to improve their offensive unit during the summer transfer period, identifying Norwich City striker Josh Sargent as a target.
It will be interesting to see if they have decided to make a move for the 25 year old in the coming weeks. They need quality strikers and recently failed offers to sign Rodrigo Muniz.
Meanwhile, US International has been doing very well since the transition to Norwich, with him having 48 goals and 12 assists in his name in the English club. The opportunity to move into the Premier League can be extremely exciting for him.
Daniel Fark has worked with players in the past. Leeds were linked to the striker last season as well.
Daniel Fark is keyed in on Norwich’s star
Mick Brown revealed to Football Insider: “Less has seen Josh Sargent.
“They have some questions about him and whether he can step up into the Premier League, but the manager likes him and he is interested.
“They will rather take the opportunity for those the manager knows and those who can do what he is looking for.
“Sargent is strong, quick and he has a good finish on him.
“He improved his reputation last season and was impressive for Norwich.”
Josh Sargent is a quality addition
Leeds has secured promotions to top flights, and they are looking to establish themselves as patrons on top flights. They wouldn’t want to return to the championship next summer. It would be interesting to see if you can sign 25 this summer. He managed to score 15 goals last season, but he’s sure to add the cutting edge he needs to the final third of Leeds.
Meanwhile, Canary wouldn’t want to lose players easily, and Leeds may have to put forward a lucrative proposal to close the transaction.
If you want to do well next season, you will have to try and improve your team during the summer transfer period. Apart from quality strikers, they need to try and improve their midfield and defensive units. They play against the top teams in the Premier League and need a well-equipped team.
