With the first four months of the year wrapping up, boxing enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the spring schedule while reflecting on some of the major bouts that have already taken place. Early May featured a notable tripleheader with Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney, and Teofimo Lopez Jr., highlighted by a surprising upset as Garcia fell to Roland Romero in a unanimous decision. Both the Garcia vs. Romero and Haney vs. Jose Ramirez fights were criticized for their lack of action, but the night was salvaged by Saul “Canelo” Alvarez’s victory over WIlliam Skull, where Alvarez claimed the super middleweight title amid controversy. That fight set a new record for the fewest punches thrown, according to Compubox stats.

On the same night, Naoya Inoue overcame adversity to stop Ramon Cardenas, retaining his undisputed junior featherweight championship. Looking ahead, big names like Jake Paul will return to the ring against former middleweight champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., and a heavyweight rematch between unified champion Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois is set, with Usyk having ended their first fight early. Another major highlight is Manny Pacquiao ending his retirement on July 19th with a title bout against WBC welterweight champ Mario Barrios.

Below is the 2025 boxing calendar, with ongoing updates to schedules and fight details:
