Chelsea officially confirmed the signature of Jamie Binh-Bie Gitten from Borussia Dortmund, completing an additional £3.5 million add-on in addition to a transaction worth £48.5 million.

According to the club’s official website, the 20-year-old English winger put his pen on paper on a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

Widely regarded as one of England’s most exciting emerging talents, Bynoe-Gittens arrives after a promising spell at Borussia Dortmund.

Young Winger scored 12 goals for Dortmund in all competitions last season.

The arrival of Bynoe-Gittens adds depth and competition to the sides, giving Maresca a versatile option that can work with either wing.

As Chelsea aims to improve offensive power, his ability to take on his defender, create space and provide quality in the final third becomes important.

Signing, Binè Gittens expressed his excitement as he returns to England and takes the next step in his career at Chelsea.

“It feels good” Gitens said. “It feels great to be in a big club like Chelsea.

“I can’t wait to learn from everyone on the team and push myself to Max here. It’s an amazing feeling.”

The arrival of Bynoe-Gittens is speculation about the future of players such as Raheem Sterling, Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Maduke, which could also affect existing Chelsea wingers.
