According to a trusted reporter, the Glasgow Rangers are currently about to sign the £10 million star Ibrox boss Russell Martin was discussing last year.

Rangers targeting attackers with 5 Ibrox signatures

The GERS and 49ers companies have been busy in the past seven days when it comes to strengthening Martin’s team with the new Ibrox signing.

The Rangers’ Champions League qualifiers, including Panatinaikos, Real Cameron, Max Aaron, Joe Rothwell, Emmanuel Fernandez and Terroasguard, are all brought in.

There’s more to come as Martin recently shares the types of profiles he’d like to bring with Ibrox ahead of the 2025/26 season.

“We’re working hard to make sure we get the right thing. What we’re already in the building is something we’re very happy with, and what we think will come next week or two weeks, we’re very happy with them.

“We still need some help, but we all recognize it. We can’t be in a hurry. We can’t sign something we’re not too sure. We have to chase what we really want. We have to look at the characters first.

“Can you come here and add us as a group in terms of what you do, how you train, how you work, who you are as a human being?

With the new defender and midfielder already signed, it appears that attention is being paid to something like Jamie Vardy as Glasgow striker target joining the final third.

The new winger is also on the radar, with only Oscar Cortez, Rabbi Matondo and Ross McAusland currently only having Oscar Cortez and Ross McAusland as options, with former targets for Rangers bosses being desired.

Rangers are chasing the deal on £10 million surrun rak-kayi

According to Alan Nixon, a trusted reporter for the Scottish Sun, Rangers are “chasing” the move to sign Crystal Palace’s Yesrun Lak Sakiy.

The 22-year-old returned to Selhurst Park after loan spells at Sheffield United last season. The Rangers are seeing temporary or permanent movements.

The palace wanted £10 million to sell Rak-Sakyi, but “the boss of Ibrox could also try to win him in a permanent deal at a lower fee.”

Interestingly, Martin had been in discussions to sign the right wing 12 months ago after taking Southampton to the Premier League, but no movement was made.

Rak-Sakyi continues to contribute to the Blade’s nine championship goals as he missed the promotion slightly in his final playoff loss to Sunderland.

Now it looks like a journey to Scotland can be placed on the British card.
