Truckhouse Owner Commends Daniel Suarez’s Impact, Declares “It’s Time for a New Chapter”

Truckhouse Racing entered NASCAR five years ago with Daniel Suarez as their sole driver. Since then, the team has grown to three full-time cars and one part-time entry. Although the organization finished second in the championship and secured 11 wins, Suarez contributed just two of those victories. In the 2025 season, he was among only three drivers without a race win, ranking lowest in the regular season standings among them, following Chicago Tilmouf and Schoen Vangisbergen.

Over the weekend, Suarez shared with the media that he had been feeling overlooked in recent months. Justin Marks, who established Truckhouse Racing in 2021, addressed the tough choice to part ways with Suarez at a post-race press event in Chicago. Marks emphasized that Suarez had been a significant part of the team for over four years. However, after reviewing their long-term plans and sponsorship goals for the next three to five years, the team recognized it was time to move in a new direction.

Marks acknowledged Suarez’s contribution and friendship, mentioning a lengthy conversation they had the night before the announcement. He added that in this sport, change is inevitable and necessary for growth. Marks stated that ending the partnership was a crucial step in the team’s next chapter, and the organization remains committed to expanding and achieving new goals. Although no formal confirmation has been made, it is anticipated that promising driver Connasilish will be promoted to the Cup Series in 2026.

Fan Take: This development is significant for NASCAR fans as it marks the end of an era with Daniel Suarez at Trackhouse and signals a fresh chapter for both the team and the driver. The move highlights the competitive and ever-evolving nature of NASCAR, where teams must continually adapt and innovate to stay at the top.
