Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the future of Real Madrid forward Rodrigo during his connection to Arsenal.

The recent report states that Gunner is ready to spend a lot of money signing Rodrigo this summer, but his future appears to still need to be revealed.

Brazil International is holding a key meeting with Real Madrid next week, and the Spanish giant could be open to letting him go.

As for the latest update on Romano’s X, it clearly excludes players moving players to Saudi Arabia, as previously proposed by Italian journalists.

It appears that Rodrigo will be allowed to make final decisions on his future, but his focus is said to be on staying in Europe.

Arsenal fans hope this gives them the opportunity to enter a run for his signature.

I know Arsenal needs a new offensive player this summer, but how many can they go?

As things stand, both Eberechi Eze and Noni Maduke sign both new Wingers/Attacking Midfielders (according to Ben Jacobs’ post below), but Viktor Gyoker appears to be the number one striker target for deals.

So, does it really leave a lot of space for Rodrigo? The 24-year-old can play wide and wide in advance, so perhaps it would be a good move to provide Mikel Arteta with a really solid team depth.

But I imagine that if all four of us, Rodrigo, Gyoker, Eze and Maduce, then we’ll need to sell one or two in that department.

Of course, it is not yet clear how things will pan out. Signing four names of these names might be fantasy, but it might be easy to imagine the AFC being seduced to one of Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli to win cash.
