The Minnesota Lynx (18-3, 13-2 Western Conference) are set to face the Chicago Sky (6-13, 1-8 Eastern Conference) on Saturday at 1 pm in Chicago. The Sky recently secured an 87-76 win over the Dallas Wings, with a standout 27-point performance. Chicago holds a 3-4 record at home, allowing an average of 86.3 points and scoring just 7.2 points per game. Meanwhile, the Lynx have a strong 7-3 away record, averaging 84.8 points per game, which is 10.1 points more than their opponents typically score.

Chicago averages 79.1 points per game, outscoring the 74.7 points Minnesota allows. Minnesota makes fewer three-pointers per game compared to what Chicago concedes. This will be their second matchup this season, with the Lynx previously winning 80-75 on July 6, thanks to Courtney Williams’ 25-point effort.

Key players include Angel Reese for Minnesota, who averages 13.3 points, 12.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.5 steals, and Ariel Atkins for Chicago, averaging 14.4 points over the last 10 games. Napheesa Collier also shines for the Lynx, scoring 23.5 points and grabbing 7.9 rebounds per game, while Kayla McBride averages 2.0 made three-pointers in her recent games.

In their last 10 games, the Sky went 4-6, posting averages of 82.4 points, 36.4 rebounds, 20.6 assists, 7.6 steals, 5.0 blocks, and shooting 44.6% from the field, with opponents scoring 83.6 points against them. The Lynx have an 8-2 record in the same period, averaging 83.6 points, 34.6 rebounds, 22.8 assists, 7.6 steals, 5.4 blocks, and shooting 44.9%, while allowing just 73.3 points.

Injuries include Courtney Vandersloot, out for the season with an ACL injury for the Sky, and Karlie Samuelson, sidelined for the Lynx with a foot injury.
