Bringing the Wimbledon trophy home is a dream for every tennis player, but that trophy brings a lot of money. The 2025 tournament saw an 8% increase in total prize money from last year’s tournament.

Payments in the tennis tournament are determined by the round competitor reach before elimination or before winning the championship. Going out in the opening round of 128 means running away for $90,744, but with at least one win guarantee, such as $136,117. This makes it important for the men and women that all matches are involved.

A women’s final has been set, and a $2 million gap between the champion and runner-up is at stake. Five-time Grand Slam champion Iga Sweet will face American Amanda Anishimoba for his first appearance in the Major Finals. Swiatek has never won at the All England Club as he is looking for another leg in his career grand slam. Anisimova has only reached one major semifinal before and returned in 2019 at French Open.

The men’s final is still decided with American Taylor Fritz being two-time ruler champions, with Wimbledon champion Carlos Alkaraz and world number one Janik Sinner fighting 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic.
