After officially announcing the arrival of Nasser Djiga, Glasgow Rangers are about to sign another Ibrox Transfer Target who has already met Russell Martin and has passed medical approval.
Thelwell was “pleasant” signing Djiga for the ranger
As the first summer progresses, Kevin Selwell certainly enjoys an impressive start to his life at Ibrox. After hiring Martin to eventually finish the Rangers’ administrative search, the new GERS sports director immediately turned his attention to the transfer market, and then welcomed up to seven fresh faces in Scotland.

Selwell’s preferences were revealed very early during the Rangers’ tenure, as there are five of the seven new faces that have arrived from British football.
After welcoming yet another talent from the Premier League in the form of DJIGA, the sports director spoke to the Rangers official website. “I am pleased to bring Nasser to the club on loan during the season.
“He is a player with the physical and mental profile needed to thrive both domestically and Europe, and we look forward to seeing him develop under Russell and his coaching staff.”
The defender himself was pleased to put his pen on paper at the loan move to Scotland. “I’m so happy to be part of the Rangers. It’s one of the biggest clubs in Scotland and Europe. I try to give it everything and play every game. I think it’s the best team for me.
But the 49ers and Rangers don’t stop there. The report suggests that after he completes medical care, they want to sign the sixth player from English Football.
Gassama completes Rangers Medical, but may not seal Ibrox’s movements
As star Joe Klan reported, Juidi Gassama has now completed Rangers Medical and met Martin and Gerz players before joining the Scottish Premiership Giants. He’s not a Rangers player yet, but Sheffield’s Wednesday winger is painted on GERS training gear, with the people at Ibrox waiting for a final signing after a deal is reached.
However, that may not come after saying that Gassama’s move to Rangers is facing a collapse with the people of Hillsboro.
As analyst John Walker pointed out, the Rangers have every reason to be excited by the potential outlook for Gasama’s arrival. The winger scored eight goals, supporting another competition in all Sheffield competitions last Wednesday, showing the possibility that Danny Roll had noticed in 2023.
The owl boss told reporters after handing Gasama his first start. “In Gas, it was his first start with XI and I think he has so much potential. He has to improve with his load so he can do it for 90 minutes, but that’s a normal process if you haven’t played much in the past.
