Chelsea hopes to be their second title in six weeks to face PSG in the Club World Cup final this weekend. Fans hope it will be the beginning of the club’s golden age.

There are several that support the Enzo Maresca aspect. He will be challenging the Premier League title next season, and some critics have this opinion. But not everyone is sure.

In his exclusive catch-offside column, Stan Colliemore expressed his thoughts on whether Chelsea can challenge the Premier League title in 2025-26.

“This seems to have done on a big upward trajectory for Chelsea since the second half of the UEFA Conference League final with Real Betis. They have now won the trophy, so they have now achieved trophy preferences. The Club World Cup final is another challenge for them.

“But I think it’s going to be difficult for Chelsea as I look forward to next season. The Premier League is the toughest league in the world and has made a proper appearance in the Champions League. But I’ve seen a lot of experts say they can beat the league.

“When we enter November, December and January, they need to spin the players because teams are not able to take two weeks off after this Club World Cup and can’t be fresh for the new season.

It is still unclear how Chelsea will make their appearance next season, but for now, supporters are focusing on the Club World Cup final.
