Real Madrid reportedly has revived their interest in the potential relocation of Liverpool centre back Ibrahima Conate in the past few days.

The Spanish giants were just humiliated at the Club World Cup this summer, losing 4-0 to Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals.

The Real signed Dean Huyssen of Bournemouth earlier this summer, but it appears they can further strengthen in the back.

According to Marca, Antonio Rudiger and Raul Asensio were not persuasive.

Los Blancos may probably feel the opportunity as Liverpool has expired next summer and is currently signing that Liverpool doesn’t want to lose France International for free.

Conate’s contract talks with Liverpool were previously reported to have stalled, according to the Guardian, so perhaps the Reds’ best bet would be to cash him out.

The 26-year-old may be heading towards running through his 26-year-old contract, as Trent Alexander Arnold did before moving to the Bernabeu.

You might want to see if Madrid can speed things up and convince the LFC to sell conate this summer.

Will they back Liverpool four times next season?

If Konate leaves Anfield this summer, he will leave Arne Slot with Virgil Van Dikk, the back four player from last season.

The experienced Dutch defender recently signed a new contract with Liverpool, but Alexander Arnold left and was replaced by Jeremy Frimon.

Meanwhile, Milos Kerquez is also taking part from Bournemouth, so he can set up a position to take Andy Robertson in the slot’s starting lineup.

Losing Conate has taken a big blow, but Liverpool may now be a good idea to bring him a fee, so they can spend reasonable money on top quality alternatives.
