Following their fourth win of the 2025 season at Sonoma Raceway, Trackhouse Racing Team announced that Todd Meredith has taken on the role of president of racing operations starting this week. Meredith is a seasoned professional with many years of experience at Joe Gibbs Racing and served as the team’s Chief Operating Officer from 2013 to 2016. Justin Marks, owner of Trackhouse, expressed excitement about bringing Meredith on board, highlighting his expertise as key to guiding the team through a crucial growth phase focused on culture, strategy, swift decision-making, and organizational strength.

Meredith shared his enthusiasm about returning to NASCAR and being inspired by Trackhouse Racing’s vision after his discussions with Marks. His appointment doesn’t replace anyone, as all business, marketing, and partner relations remain under Chief Revenue Officer Andrew Lukanicz. Trackhouse currently fields three full-time cars in the NASCAR Cup Series—Ross Chastain in the No. 1, Shane Van Gisbergen in the No. 88, and Daniel Suarez in the No. 99—along with a fourth part-time entry. Suarez is expected to leave the team after the 2025 season, with up-and-coming driver Connar Irish likely to take his place. The team has enjoyed notable success, including three wins from SVG as a rookie and a prestigious victory at the Coca-Cola 600.

Fan Take: Bringing Todd Meredith into a leadership role signals Trackhouse’s serious commitment to becoming a dominant force in NASCAR. For fans, this could mean more strategic excellence and consistent top-tier performances, adding more excitement and competition to the sport.
