Manchester United’s first team is seriously in need of overhauling this summer, especially if they should correct mistakes in the 2024/25 campaign.

Reuben Amorim’s team finished the season just 15th in the Premier League and then fell below the high expectations placed on them by their fanbase.

However, the boss needs huge amounts of money to manage the turnarounds of such players to help him in his quest to bring the club back to domestic glory.

He already secured the signature of Mateus Cunya from the wolves, spending fees in the £62.5 million area and snatching 10 shirts from Marcus Rashford.

Despite early business, trading has dried up in recent weeks, but more work continues to be done behind the scenes to change teams ahead of 2025/26.

The latest on United Hunt for new additions from United this summer

Brian Mbemo was a star who connects with United for what feels like eternity, but the Red Devils are not close to agreeing to the Cameroon signing fees this summer.

The 25-year-old will be eligible for two separate bids, with the latest total of £62.5 million, but it’s not enough to convince Brentford to seek a £65 million star man.

However, according to CatedOffside, the Lyon Star Corentin Tolisso currently has a solid Corentin Tolisso in this window.

They claim that the club’s hierarchy is already in contact with League One outfit on the moves of the 30-year-olds, which are available for £20 million in this window.

He also said he was open to switch to Old Trafford this summer and is looking forward to United’s projects, but he won’t force him to join the Red Devils if the offer doesn’t match his asking price.

Further reports from French Outlet Le Progress via sports witnesses suggest that the midfielder has been rejecting the offer for some time. However, after receiving an offer from United, who is said to be “suspicious” to sign him, it can make Torisso think about whether he wants to leave Lyon.

United’s latest targets are the best for Mbeumo

There’s no denying that Mbeumo will be a great addition for United this summer, especially when we dig into the numbers created in Brentford’s final campaign.

Cameroon International finished the year as one of five players who could find the net 20 times in the Premier League and achieved such feats.

Only Mohamed Salah, Erling Haaland and Alexander Isak have registered more targets on top flights in England, highlighting the threat of carrying within the last third.

It would be a big investment, but it would certainly be worth it, especially considering he registered 45% of the target for which the Red Devils won his final campaign himself.

If he moved northwest, he could assist in his quest by Torisso, the current French star.

Labeled “World Class” by former teammate Mark Roca, the Lyon star registered 11 goals, combining 11 goals and assists, and presented Amorim’s side with another impressive option in the final third.

He also registered 6.4 progressive passes per 90 last season, 5.7 of which went into the final third, giving Mbeumo the tools he needed to hit the ground running at Old Trafford.

Torisso was even more impressed with the ball at his feet, making 1.2 key passes per 90 and also 1.4 carrys per 90 also scored carry in the final third, with the ability to add even more offensive threats.

£20 million for players of his quality and experience proved to be a great pickup and could move to England, providing important depth in the midfield division.

If he could replicate his excellent figure from his time in France, it would be a wise addition to the Red Devils, with the hope that the stars would connect with Mbeumo’s, where supporters should be excited.
