Newcastle is looking to strengthen its first team team before returning to the Champions League next season, but they are also making continuous efforts to improve the Youth Academy. And they are trying to do so with the signature of a highly rated winger from Korea.

Earlier this summer, Newcastle strengthened its future options by signing Antonio Cordero from Malaga. The young Spanish winger, who was involved in the U19 euro, is expected to be loaned out to continue playing regular football.

And the only young winger Newcastle signs with is not Koldero, but Park Seung Soo is also set to take part.

Earlier in the summer it was reported that Park, just 18, had been a choice between Newcastle and Bayern Munich for his next club. And now, revealed by Korean journalist Seol Ho-Jung (via the NUFC blog), who chose to join the Premier League side of Suwon Bluewings.

Newcastle also soon traveled northeast to get medical tests in Marseille, RB Salzburg and FC Midzirland. He is expected to sign before joining the Howes team for the Korea preseason tour, which will take place later in the summer.

It is well documented that Newcastle has the wealthiest owners in World Football, but they have been unable to burn all the guns in the transfer market due to PSR restrictions, but they are in a smart business. And signing many talented teenagers for the future highlights this point, especially if players like Park can break into their first teams in the coming years.
